Maybe this would help in ending this waste on alternate energy for this time being until the technology has advanced enough to become a monetary generator rather than a large metal structure that we all have to pay for every month.  Alternative methods are great to go in to but I think we should have waited to a point where we can implement these units in to our existing energy infrastructure without having the cost passed on to each Canadian.  Dealing with the energy sector I can never understand why I am responsible for paying down a private companies debt or that I have to pay special fees to cover business costs within that organization.  the best part yet is the government approves these items.  Maybe the top executives should not be taking any bonuses and we would not have had to forced to pay double for what it truly costs for 1KWh of electricity.

It just seems like another example of where government is moving ahead with their own motives and not what the people want.  Oh wait, that is what everyone in Ontario voted for anyways.  They had a government in, the Liberals.  They promised all these things and then did the opposite on about every single item that got them elected.  Then they were voted in again.  When I look at this I get very discouraged as to why vote when you are voting beside people who do not even care what the person does but are voting based on what party they belong to.  Maybe it is time to move away from a party politics and move towards individuals running for specific positions within the government body.  That would be a true democratic process but at the same time would be very expensive and not practical.  So for the mean time we live with what we have and I hope one day enough intelligent voters will come to the booth and vote with their heads and not their hearts.

Maybe if the Quebec government was more concerned with prosperity and not how they can help everyone this would not be a topic. It amazes me that they have not had to cut back but I guess that is why the business sector is crumbling and money is leaving the province. This is what you will get when the main focus is socialist views and not economic stability or growth. I laugh and cry when I think of this because I do value what Quebec does have to offer to us but the people there need to learn that the policies and programs they create and support remind me of a Communist government and will eventually bring them down as they will find it is not monetarily sustainable. If that is what they want then go for it but do not complain when things do not go your way. For example, tuition fees.

This article, I could not agree more. It provides a good summary on the good and the bad of Canadian Health Care. It just seems to fuel my point that we need to bring in private medical facilities to compensate for areas that the Health Care system is lacking in. We need to do this, but it is a matter of time of when it will happen.

Censorship.  It is definitely surrounding us even in Canada where I thought it would never be so strong.  So if we look at this one incident about a man urinating on a passport, does it really mean anything?  Yes technically it is an offense to damage your passport as it is a government document that is accepted all over the world.  It is a little distasteful to me to hear of this but that is my personal view.  If this person was doing this to demonstrate a point or disagreement with the government then I do back him with my support but if this is done out of a malicious nature then he should be charged.

The freedoms within our country are being taken away and it seems that the vast majority are supporting it.  If it saves one life then it is worth it.  They do not seem to think that maybe it was a coincidence that the life was saved after all.  Look at how Toronto, Ontario is having some of their government officials push for a ban on bullets.  Can you believe this, bullets?  I can understand they are doing this since they lost the effective ban on guns, but let us all come to the same conclusion, those that are within the crime circle and are using guns and bullets do not get their guns and bullets from the local sports shop.  There is a small thing that has been put in place on guns and bullets that allow them to be traced back to where they were purchased. If you believe that criminals do purchase their supplies legally then why do you think it is difficult to locate them if they have information that can assist them in tracking down an offender.  This is because the guns have the serials filed off or changed and the ammunition are not purchased here.  Reviewing all this, they are proposing a ban and will affect those that are legal gun owners and yes even Duck Hunters are valuable to our country unlike the comments of the councilors pushing the ban.

Then we have the Human Rights Board which, in theory, can be very useful for those individuals, but has gone way past this mandate and has become a haven for the members of the Board to yearn for more power.  Maybe some day we will get a person in leadership that believes in freedom of speech and will put out these groups that exist for their own gain and not to protect the freedoms of Canadians.  they more work on the freedoms of the groups that they deem to be underprivileged and requires protecting.  The way everything is moving it will soon be the Caucasian that is the majority and is screaming for their rights to be heard.  Hopefully by that time there will be someone to listen and not just pushed aside because they had the majority of power for hundreds of years over a century ago.

Now we have gotten use to the Video recordings and watching that is almost found in every retail and government location within our country.  Audio has been something that has been missing due to some of the laws that exist.  Now I cannot really find a bad reason for allowing the recording of the audio at specific locations within the airports.  Some locations that I have been to within an airport have so much noise that I imagine it difficult for a simple recording audio device to distinguish between any differences.  In controlled areas even are hard when the load speaker comes on paging a missing passenger or calling for a flight boarding.

Now it possible to have the equipment go through an audio processor which can filter out different sounds, background noise, etc.  This stills presents some issues with a delay between the actual production of the sound to the reception of the sound by a security professional.  Now equipment is getting better and with proper training of individuals adjustments could be made instantly to fine tune the sound that is desired, but I see this more as a tool for after the offense and not as much as to intervene before an offense.

To me it really does not matter as they can record whatever I say.  I just want to be assured that this will assist in protecting our borders, citizens and visitors from some of the crazies that are out there living amongst us.
